Meet Me

My name is Haley and I am new to the blogging world so excuse my stupid blunderings xD

First and foremost I am a child of the King. July 16th, 2006 God healed my heart, took away my sin, washed me in His precious Son's blood, and set me on a new journey. One of the most important things I have learned as I travel this new road is that nothing is easier. Originally I thought it would be. God saves you your life is easy and makes sense, right? Oh how naive I was! No, now each step I take for the Lord angers the devil and how he tries to mess up the most important relationship by undermining the promises I have been given. If you are a fellow sibling in Christ pray for me, please? It's a struggle that tends to get me down and leads to decisions I regret, actions that hurt, and saddest of all my Saviour being disappointed in me.

I am the oldest at home of 10. I have 2 older sisters both married and living a good distance away. (so, there's 12 total...)

I'm a homeschooling senior and trying to patiently search out and seek God's will for the next unknown step in life.

Writing is the most important thing in my life. (God, family, and friends aren't things:)) I started early and never plan to stop. From journaling, to record keeping, to school papers, book reports, all the way to fictional writing. I love it all. For the past few years I have been working at writing what I hope to be publishable manuscripts. There is one main goal in all of my writing and that is to bring glory to God by reaching hurting and broken people through my novels and pointed them in the direction of healing which only comes through a relationship with Jesus.

....well, for now that's what I've got. Things are a tad hectic right now and my concentration is in a few different places so.... I blame the mistakes on that ;D
